Upgrade the house you already have

The most common use: a building that is under construction, or an older house that needs a new face.

  1. 1

    Take one clear photo

Stand at the front, straight on, and keep the whole building in the frame.

  2. 2

Pick a style and colour tone

Add notes like “stone cladding on the ground floor” or “black railings”.

  3. 3

    Compare, refine, download

Your structure stays the same — floors and openings don’t change — so every design is something you could actually build on that frame.

Starting from an empty plot instead? Choose “plot size”, enter width, depth and floors, and the AI proposes a complete new elevation.

Elevation styles

StyleWhat the AI is asked to draw
ModernClean lines, flat roofs, large openings
Pahadi contemporarySloped slate or tin roofs, local stone cladding, timber balconies and railings, deep eaves for hill rain and snow
TraditionalIndian vernacular detailing — jharokha-style balconies, arches
MinimalSimple planes and few materials — easy to maintain
ColonialSymmetrical front, columns, pitched roof
Glass & steelSteel and glass curtain walling — offices and showrooms

What makes a front elevation work

A few things to look for when you compare designs — and to discuss with your architect.

  • Two or three materials, not six

A base material (stone, tile or textured paint), one accent and one colour family usually reads better than many finishes.

  • Colour that suits the climate

Try the same design in light, warm and earthy tones; dust, rain and sun change how a colour ages.

  • Balconies, railings, parking

These carry most of the character of an Indian house front — add or remove them as extras and compare.

  • Facing and sunlight

Tell the AI which way the plot faces; it affects where openings and shade make sense.

After you pick an elevation

Take the image to your architect for working drawings and the sanctioned map — the AI design is a concept, not a construction drawing. To plan the budget, use the house construction cost guide for Dehradun; for cladding, tiles, doors, windows and paint, compare local building material suppliers.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI design the front elevation of my existing house?

Yes. Upload a clear front photo; the AI keeps the structure exactly as photographed and redesigns the façade — colours, cladding, railings and balconies.

Can I change only the colours?

Yes. Keep the same photo and style, switch the colour tone, or write what you want in the notes for the next round.

Does it make back elevations too?

Yes — choose “back elevation” as the view. Floor plans are available as a separate view.

Can I design a shop or office front?

Yes. Choose “office” as the building type; the glass & steel style is made for commercial fronts.

Is the elevation ready for construction?

No. It is a visual concept. Your architect turns it into drawings, and a structural engineer designs the frame.
