What you tell the generator

  • Plot size

    Width and depth in feet or metres — for example a 30 × 40 ft or a 25 × 50 ft plot. The Studio draws the plot to scale as you type.

  • Floors and rooms

    How many floors, bedrooms (or cabins for an office) and bathrooms you want.

  • Facing and Vastu

    North, south, east or west facing, plus an optional Vastu-friendly brief for entrance and kitchen placement.

  • Extras

    Parking, a balcony or a terrace — and free-text notes for anything else.

How to generate a floor plan

Indicative, not a working drawing

AI floor plans are indicative layouts, not construction drawings. Room sizes, structure, staircases and setbacks must be worked out by an architect, and the map sanctioned by your development authority (MDDA in Dehradun, HRDA in Haridwar). Dehradun lies in a high seismic zone, so the structure should be designed by a structural engineer.

Floor plans are made from plot dimensions. If you have a photo of your plot or building, use it for an elevation design instead.

Frequently asked questions

Which plot sizes does the AI floor plan generator support?

Any rectangular plot you can describe by width and depth, in feet or metres — common Indian sizes like 20 × 40, 30 × 40 or 30 × 50 ft included.

Can it make a Vastu-friendly floor plan?

You can switch on “Vastu-friendly”, which asks the AI to follow common guidelines such as entrance and kitchen placement. Results are indicative — have your architect or a Vastu consultant check the plan.

Does it make plans for more than one floor?

Yes — set the number of floors in the brief.

Can I get a 3D model?

No. The Studio produces 2D floor-plan images and realistic elevation images, not 3D models or CAD files.

Can I submit the AI floor plan for map approval?

No. Use it to brief your architect, who prepares the drawings your development authority needs.
